Lynn LeBeck, Ph.D.

Executive Director, Association of Natural Biocontrol Producers (ANBP)

Lynn received her Ph.D. in entomology with a concentration in biological control from the University of California-Riverside in 1985.  She spent the next 17 years with the University of Hawaii, College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources, and left in 2002 as Assistant Director for Research.  After serving as the Academic Coordinator for the Center for Biological Control, UC-Berkeley, she became the Executive Director for the Association of Natural Biocontrol Producers (ANBP) in 2008.

The Association of Natural Biocontrol Producers (ANBP) is a professional, non-profit association representing the biological pest management industry. Augmentative biological control utilizes beneficial insects, mites and nematodes to manage agricultural, horticultural and plant pests. ANBP membership includes producers, distributors, and in addition, users of natural enemies as well as allied industry supporters, university researchers, extension agents and regulatory representatives. ANBP’s mission is to address key issues of the augmentative biological control industry through advocacy, education, and quality assurance.
